Bypassing a Proxy Server
Some corporate networks specify a default proxy server that web browsers should use for regular web access. However, such servers may not be configured to forward requests to YeboTechs secure server. Consequently, when such a proxy is configured the sync station controller will not be able to access YeboTechs server even if network access to the server is enabled.
To bypass the proxy, do the following:
- Run Internet Explorer.
- Access Tools / Internet Options.
- On the \"Connections\" tab, access the \"LAN Settings\" button.
- If the \"Use a proxy server for you LAN\" checkbox is not checked, then you do not have to configure any proxy bypass. Only if it is checked, continue to the next step.
- Click the \"Advanced\" button under the Proxy server settings.
- In the \"Exceptions\" box under \"Do not use proxy server for addresses begining with:\", enter \"secure.yebotech.com\". If there are already addresses specified, use a semicolon to seperate them; for example \"192.168.0;secure.yebotech.com\".
- Click \"Ok\" until you reach the main browser window, and then enter \"secure.yebotech.com\" into the URL box. You should be presented with the YeboManager login page.
